Tasting Notes:

This coffee is pleasantly creamy with a distinct lightly fruited chocolate undertone.  A hint of sweet toastiness lingers on the tongue after your last sip.  We sampled this coffee and weren't planning on buying another Guatemalan, but we were trying out a new importer.  One taste and we knew we had to have it.  Not only is it delicious as a drip coffee, but I think it is one of the most versatile coffees in the shop.  It can be brewed in a French Press, as cold brew or even espresso and still stand out.  Enjoy!

Guatemala La Ceiba Coffee Production

Named after Guatemala’s national tree, the Ceiba farm focuses on community coffee and sustainable sourcing. Their focus on sustainability and close connection to coffee producers allow them to improve the infrastructure of the regional coffee community. The coffees from Huehuetenango have a vibrant and crisp acidity due to the mountainous elevations and diverse microclimates.
