This coffee is not like the typical natural processed Brazilian beans that we have offered in the past. Instead, we have our first ever honey-processed Brazil
, and it is exceptional! It is creamy, with a well-balanced body, and a bittersweet, richness of chocolate. This one has a nice, juicy blueberry or red berry sweetness and nothing pairs better with chocolate than berries. It is truly a great smooth, chocolatey Brazilian coffee!
Note, that we were only able to get a limited amount.
Irmãs Pereira Coffee Production:
Sisters Maria Valéria and Maria Rogéria own the 90-acre farm known as Irmãs Pereira Estate (which means "Pereira Sisters," a fitting name). They inherited the farm from their parents, who bought the property (then called Fazenda Serrado) in the 1970s. Maria Valéria and Maria Rogéria helped on the farm from the time they were both very young, and when they both got married, their husbands joined them in taking on the farm management. They process coffee many different ways including the Natural and Honey processes. All of their coffee is dried on raised beds or on patios.
